Hey Peaches! (And Peach fans!) Welcome back to the final day of DC. We had a bit of a later start this morning with breakfast at 7:45, then checked out of our rooms and loaded up buses by 9:30, which was apparently the fastest it's ever been (wooo us 🥳). Breakfast was one of the best parts of the trip, when we just got to chill and mingle with everyone.

Starting our day, we arrived at the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum. This was super cool and had the actual aircraft and space craft used in wars and space missions! Notably, we saw the Enola Gay, which dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and the Discovery Space Shuttle. They also had flight simulators but we didn't have a chance to do these because the line was long and it was expensive. We spend about 2 hours exploring, then packed it up back onto the buses. We stopped at a food court for lunch and another rest stop before arriving back at Avon High School! The bus rides were super fun and we had some good conversation, read some good books, and finished all but one of the Twilight movies and Barbie Mermaids! Thanks for following along on our adventures in DC. This was truly one of the best trips I have ever been on, and I am so grateful for this opportunity from my school and the memories made with my peers. It was a blast! Look out for more posts following EUROPE TRAVELS next week!!!!
